An inverted nipple (or invaginated nipple) is a condition where the nipple instead of pointing outward, is retracted into the breast. This remains a major concern for breast feeding. This may be present as a born with condition or may be the sequel of trauma, burns or infection.
Inverted nipple is correctable cosmetic problem and cosmetic surgery can provide a permanent solution to this condition.

Procedure : The nipple is held in the “out” position; several lines of dissolving sutures are inserted under the skin to maintain the nipple in the desired, projecting position. Protective dressing is placed over the nipples for a couple of days to hold the nipples in position and ensure they don’t retract again during healing. The procedure does not leave any scar mark.
Duration of Procedure : 1-2 hrs

Recovery Time : Back to work with in 24 hrs.
