Dimple Creation

The presence of a dimple over cheek somehow makes you cute and unique. In Asian folklore, the presence of dimple is said to suggest good fortune and fertility.

Purpose :-
To achieve aesthetically appealing dimple on cheek.

Procedure : A natural dimple is the natural defect and anchorage of cheek musculature (most often the buccinator and zygomaticus minor muscle). Dimple creation procedure is simulation of this naturally occurring process. To create a dimple, a tiny incision is made on inner aspect of your cheek. There is no incision or scar on the outside skin. To create anchor of skin to muscle, a small dissolvable suture is passed through inside of the cheek (undersurface of the skin) where the dimple is desired. At first there is a dimple present even without smiling (static position), but after several days to few weeks, the dimple is only present while smiling (i.e. during facial animation).

Duration of Procedure : 30 minutes to 1 hour

Anesthesia : Local

Recovery Time : Immediate. Mild swelling may persist for few days. You may be asked to have only soft diet for a couple of days.

Longevity of Results : Usually permanent. Dimple creation surgery is safe and effective, and can also be reverted back if needed.
